V6 DINO Engine

DINO is the first name of Enzo FERRARI's eldest son.

This engine exists in 2 versions, 2000 cm3 and 2400 cm3, manufactured from 1967 to 1974.

Installed on ferrri Dino, Lancia Stratos, Fiat Dino, as well as on a few racing cars.

Equipped with 3 Weber carburettors and 4 camshafts.

  • Its power (road version depending on model):
    • from 160 horsepowers with 7200 rpm to 180 horsepowers with 8000 rpm for 2000 cm3.
    • from 180 horsepowers with 6600 rpm to 195 horsepowers with 7600 rpm for the 2400 cm3
  • Block made of aluminium for the 2000, and cast iron for the 2400.
